ABOUT THE DAY CAMPS

Celebrate The Children, Inc. is a 501 C3 non-profit Organization providing an exciting opportunity for children in North East Texas.  Celebrate The Children Camp is a unique day camp for children with special needs.  This outdoor recreational day camp provides children with many benefits.  It allows them to learn new things, discover gifts they have as well as develop social and recreational skills.  These skills will enhance personal independence and give them an appreciation of nature.

Celebrate The Children Day Camps are held on a 100+ acre farm in Commerce, TX (50 Miles East of Dallas)

Volunteers

Celebrate The Children Day Camp maintains a Counselor/Camper ratio of 1/1.  The camp provides a specific volunteer camp buddy for each child the entire day.  There are other volunteers that help with the overall success for the camp.  Volunteers come from local and surrounding communities.  These volunteers range from College students studying children with disabilities to Sorority and Fraternity members who are giving back to the community along with Special Education Teachers and people with passions to help others. 

Cost

Scholarships are available to cover the cost of the campers.  There is a $16.00 application fee that insures your reservation at camp

Campers must submit both an application and fact sheet in order to enroll in camp
